Wheel and Valve Keys 

Safeguard against accidents, when you have a seized, corroded or over-tightened gate valve, you should be using the correct tool for the job. Many accidents happen when pipe grips or other incorrect tools are used, often the valve is damaged and sometimes the operator is injured. 

 

Our Wheel key Spanner or sometimes known as Gate valve Key or Gate Valve Key Spanner is a simple low cost but effective tool that is designed to hook over the rim of the wheel with a support for the underside thus enabling the user to exert far more torque from the handle than would be possible using hands only. 

 

The 8”&12” keys which are one piece drop forged steel, are M.O.D patternised items and have been used for many years by oil refineries, water boards and chemical companies, we also supply 18" & 24” extended versions of the wheel key key for larger gate valves.
